MoneyWiz subscription – either MoneyWiz Premium or regular Online Banking subscription – are recurring. This means that if you have subscribed to monthly subscriptions, you’ll pay a fee every month. If you chose a yearly subscription, you’ll be billed every year. If you do not cancel your subscription, it’ll be renewed as it expires – completely automatically – in order to ensure that you can use the features you’ve paid for without interruption.
However, there might be a time when you need to cancel the automatic renewal of your subscription. Perhaps you want to switch from monthly to yearly payments or you want to switch from regular MoneyWiz version to MoneyWiz Premium. Or maybe you don’t want to use MoneyWiz anymore for now – we’ll be sorry to see you go but here’s how to do it!
Cancelling a subscription from the application itself
If you still have MoneyWiz installed you can easily cancel your subscription from there. Just head over to MoneyWiz’s Settings -> Subscriptions -> see which subscription is active (monthly or yearly) and click on the Cancel button. You should receive a confirmation that your subscription has been cancelled.
If you don’t have access to MoneyWiz, have problems cancelling this way or just want to make sure that the subscription is cancelled, please choose one of the following methods, depending on where your subscription is coming from. Not sure where it is coming from? Check out this guide!
Cancelling a subscription from our own web store
Please locate the receipt of your original subscription purchase or any of the recent subscription renewals. It’ll contain a link to manage your subscription. It usually looks like this: https://sites.fastspring.com/silverwiz/order/s/SIL111111-1111-11111S
The https://sites.fastspring.com/silverwiz/order/s/ part is the same for all subscriptions. The last part is basically your receipt ID. Once you visit this link you’ll see a page like this:
The details of course can be different, depending on your payment price, currency, renewal period (monthly/yearly), etc. Once you have reached this page, you can click on the Cancel Subscription link to cancel your subscription. Once you cancel it, it’ll remain active until the end of the period you’ve paid for (in this case, it’d be valid up until 26 April 2018) but would not renew so that you would not be charged again. You could still use the features you’ve paid for (MoneyWiz Premium in this case) up until that date.
