When you download MoneyWiz 3 and sign into your SYNCbits account, MoneyWiz 3 will migrate your SYNCbits account to MoneyWiz 3. This is necessary in order to support the new features.
If after that you try to use your SYNCbits account in MoneyWiz 2, you will see a message telling you that you are using a newer version of MoneyWiz on another device. This is done to prevent any data damage because MoneyWiz 2 is not programmed to recognize the new features of MoneyWiz 3 (like crypto/forex accounts, crypto currencies in Settings etc).
If you want to go back to MoneyWiz 2, please follow these steps:
- Delete any crypto or forex accounts you may have created in MoneyWiz 3.
- Delete MoneyWiz 3.
- E-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org and request that your SYNCbits account be migrated back to MoneyWiz 2. Make sure you tell us what’s your SYNCbits email.
Our support will then migrate your account within 24 hours and let you know when it’s ready for use in MoneyWiz 2.
