What this guide will cover
Payees are the people or institutions participating in a transaction. If you go to Tesco or Whole Foods and buy a pack of bananas, your transaction in MoneyWiz should have "Tesco" or "Whole Foods" as the payee and probably something like "Groceries" as the category. This allows you for example to generate a report for "Groceries" category, comparing how much money you spend in all shops.
This guide will cover the basics of payee management: creation, editing and deletion.

You can create payees while you're entering transactions. If you type a payee that does not exist, it'll be created alongside the transaction.
Otherwise you can go to MoneyWiz Settings -> Payees to create new payees using the New button.
Editing and deleting payees
In MoneyWiz Settings -> Payees you can also edit and delete payees by selecting them from the list and clicking on the respective button.
Please note that if you delete a payee, it'll be also removed from all transactions. You might want to check for any transactions that still have that payee assigned before, for example using Payee report.
