So in the meantime MoneyWiz is now totally useless to me, what a farce! Can I ask why you didn’t think it necessary to email this message to your customers so at least they knew what was going on? Am I entitled to an extension to my subscription to make up for the loss of function while you sort out this mess?

I agree with andypyeomans. To charge for a service which doesn't work is outrageous. The least you can do is extend everyone's subscription.

I have several accounts which no longer work with Yodlee, but they are not yet listed with Salt Edge. Will all banks be supported by Salt Edge by the end of September?

When will PSD2 be available for iOS? I've been one week without access to my bank's account and the app is now a mess because all numbers are incorrect and I don't know how much can I spend this month! The deadline has passed. :(

    When will 3.6.1 be released?

I agree with all of the above comments, can we at least have an update please?

My banks are not working either, and they appear as unregulated on the Salt Edge website. Does it mean they won't work even after everything is moved to Salt Edge?

I just renewed my subscription. Either I get an extension, or I am gone for next year. Sorry.

It's very bad that you didn't have the decency of letting us know by email in advance. I kept seeing the error and didn't know what was happening until I came across this website after being frustrated for sometime this month.

I came to MoneyWiz from a competitor. I've liked it up to now but this episode is not going well, I'm looking at how other apps are handling the issue. You need to get some info out or you are going to lose a lot of customers.

I agree with everyone. This is really poor especially given the price we pay. Why wasn’t this communicated via the app or email. iOS & Mac deadline ? what date is this ?? Surprised MW haven’t even replied to any comments on here. Extremely disappointed, time to look around for something different!

All these negative comments I don't understand at all. I've the same issues like you. Especially with the Bank N26 in Germany. But nevertheless, for sure Wizmoney isn't responsible or guilty for all these issues with PSD2. I don't know how many banks are inside EU, but this was again a strange project from EU with this stupid PSD2. Despite the fact, that I never found a such cool App, like Wizmoney, which supports so many different platforms and everything is synced. I've installed on my iPhone several Apps, e.g. Outbank, Finanzblick, FinanzGuru etc. But all of them have the same issues with connection to Bank accounts.

We all of us should give the Support Team a bit time and appreciation. At least I guess, that in a couple of days the most issues are already fixed. Hopefully.

Sadly, I do hold MW to be partly responsible.  PSD2 is not a new initiative it has been in the works for the last five years.  Banks have been working for many years to prepare their systems to support open banking and the underlying APIs.  Whilst MW is not directly accountable (they purchase subscription services from 3rd parties to enable downloads) their partners are.  They have had plenty of time to develop, test and release this capability.

It really comes down to a lack of communication, planning and execution - meaning we are all now thrown back 10 years to keep our accounts in order.  Not, I'm sure, the expectation of the EU when they proposed Open Banking so many years ago.

As an aside, and to Sunshine's point, there are only two or three companies that provide the direct download backend capability to a vast array of apps we all know.  They are all impacted so I'll not be switching any time soon otherwise my frustration will spiral out of control.

That said, MW ... please ... do work with your partners to accelerate the resolution of this issue and PLEASE be more open in the communication with your customers!

Hi, since this morning I'm again able to synchronize with my Bank N26.

I can do this both from my Mac and from my iPhone

The only problem is that I need to allways (at every sync request) ackownledge in N26 the login request that MZ is doing toward N26.  What is annoying.   Perhaps with the newest app release to come, this will no more be needed.  Let wait & see .. but for the time I'm happy that sync is back operational again

Well it’s now been 5 days since my original comment and still no reply from any of the MoneyWiz team. I think there silence will lose a lot of customers, me for one when my subscription is up for renewal. While I know it’s not an end of the world problem it is still an inconvenience when you rely on something and it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. I hold MoneyWiz totally responsible as they are who I pay my money to and the fact that we’ve had no comment back is just making a bad situation worse !

@Eugene, yes I confirm. But there's still an issue. Here should MW pay attention. If you have connected two different N26 accounts, then you'll get the message, that this "credentials are already used". And this I don't understand. Because to connect with N26, you need the E-Mail address and password.

And yes, it#s a bit annoying.

Please contact us via e-mail  hello@wiz.money so that we can assist. We're ready with MoneyWiz for iOS beta that includes the Open Banking (PSD2) functionality.

I am sorry to hear you are not completely satisfied with MoneyWiz.  We understand your disappointment, but please note that this is a temporary problem and will be resolved soon (up to 1-2 weeks). Subscription has many features, with online banking being just one of them.  In addition to automatically connecting to banks, subscription offers other features as well as synchronization between all operating systems and devices.

Meantime, you can try adding yours banks using SaltEdge or you can also enter transactions manually, no duplicates are expected when reconnecting.

I agree with comments above - this system only works when the bank account feeds auto update. That's the functionality I pay for a subscription to get. I pay not to have to sit around entering the week's transactions manually. The customer communication has been very poor around this issue. An email to all EU customers before the disconnect would have been highly appreciated as would extra weeks on all live subscriptions in acknowledgment of the loss of core functionality. Without bank feeds, this app is like a wonderful looking car - with no engine!

Hi Andrew, most of our customers successfully transferred their accounts to SaltEdge. We still have problems, but we are working hard and will solve them. This is a big change for everyone, and some banks are still not ready.

    Hi Paula,

I'm a bit more confused now, the message previously was we needed to wait for 3.6.1 to be published, which I'm still waiting for, however it seems to be that you are suggesting that we should update the accounts to use saltedge and this might resolve the issue?

Can I ask for a clear update to this blog post with the current status, and clear information on what we should (or should not) be doing?

As an aside, you guys have a good product, and I think what you are seeing here is frustrations with communication, not frustration with the product. However the way this is being handled is not very customer friendly in my opinion. (Which is unusual for you guys!)

Hi Alexander, Yes, you're right, there is a lot of confusion and it affects all participants in this process - it seems that no one is ready. We are the last in the chain. The problem is that banks are not ready. Yodlee no longer supports us banks in the EU, but still many banks have not passed to Open Banking and they still refresh the old way by SaltEdge. This state is changing every day, so the information we can give you is not final.

Hello Chrisoph, We've recently started a private/closed beta with the Open Banking functionality (i.e. MoneyWiz is ready with the integration). The results so far are pretty mixed - some banks work great, some banks don't work at all, and some are in-between. We're working with SaltEdge to establish where the issues are but so far it seems that the majority of issues are with the banks themselves.
A few other issues were detected so far that are in the hands of SaltEdge to solve. We're hoping to see them solved by next week some time. Once they solve them we'll release update 3.6.2 publicly, which will include the Open Banking functionality, ability to edit pending transactions from accounts connected to a bank and a few other things. Once we release for iOS/macOS (hopefully next week some time), it will take us another week or so to release for Android and a few more weeks for Windows.

My Mac verison is broken - it used to work on some Saltedge accounts, but now it will only update the balance - no updates to transaction details. This is on several accounts, both with and without SCA.

So I've not been able to use my iPhone/iPad/Mac apps for the purpose intended (automated transaction download from multiple accounts) for almost two weeks. Are we going to be compensated for the lack of service? Ultimately I've paid for a service which I am not receiving and I cannot say that I am happy about it.

@David - we've just released public beta for iOS, which increases our beta testing capacity from around 100 people to around 1500 people. If all goes well for the next few days we'll release publicly for iOS and macOS by the end of this week or on Monday next week (to avoid issues during the weekend when we are short-staffed).

Guys, is there any update on this please? are we still waiting on 3.6.2 to allow OpenBanking connections?

@Alex - we should be submitting to Apple today or tomorrow. Fixing final bugs that we know of, not even related to bank connections but to search of banks as we've completely modified the account creation screen on iOS... the public beta has been released since last week.

    Hello,

I'm on iOS beta 3.6.2 but bank syncing is not working either. My bank is Postfinance from Switzerland. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the bank. This works without problem. When connecting the bank I can even see the right amount of money on the different accounts. But after connecting, the transactions don't update.
